Established in 1985 Thermo Plastics (Pvt) Ltd. is a pioneering green manufacturer of top-quality flexible packaging for the apparel industry ranging from printed and unprinted bags to standard and water proof zipper lock bags and oxo biodegradable bags.
A subsidiary of BAM Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, Thermo Plastics is based in Homagama, the Company is strongly dedicated to principles of sustainable manufacturing with a view to minimizing and mitigating the environmental impact of manufacturing operations while actively engaging with regional communities in order to enhance quality of life and deliver greater value to the widest possible range of stakeholders.
BAM Holdings was founded by prominent Sri Lankan entrepreneur and renowned philanthropist late Mr.B.A. Mahipala. The group is vertically integrated from fabric manufacturing to logistics and is a specialized children's apparel and clothing manufacture and has also diversified into agriculture, renewable energy and the leisure sector.
Thermo Plastics facility in Homagama is designed to utilize natural lighting, cross ventilation, solar power, rainwater harvesting, and noise dampening. Our commitment to waste-reduction and efficiency carries over to our IT processes through our in-house developed, cloud-based, ERP system which helps to ensure that back-end processes are also maintained at international standards.
